Dot Points

  • Noah's Christmas play is Monday night. He is a wise man in his class play. I am looking forward to watching him. He goes to school on half a day Tuesday and then he is on holidays.
  • Plans for the holidays: Christmas crafts and making Gingerbread Houses!
  • This is our last week of school as well, and then we are on holidays. I cant wait!
  • The orphanage across the road just got a baby boy...only 6 weeks old. I love that I can go over there anytime I want and hold him. He is so very cute.
  • So thankful for all the packages we have received for Christmas. We really didnt need to buy the kids any presents-they have so many!
  • We have adopted 3 kids from the orphanage across the street to buy Christmas presents for this year. I am looking forward to the kids "giving" this year instead of "receiving"!
  • We have a friend here who is doing photography to help raise money for their Ethiopian adoption (sound confusing?)! So, she is going to take our family photos tomorrow. Picking out clothes has been a nightmare. Most of our clothes are rather worn...haha! Maggie has the best clothes so we are all trying to match her!
  • Our car has been in the shop this week getting some things fixed....funny....all we have is a motorbike and it seems the monsoon has arrived this week!
  • Just finished a Colossians Bible study with the ladies on my team. I really enjoyed it. Good stuff.
  • Prayer is becoming very important to me. If I dont spend a good amount of time in prayer each day, I become a rather grumpy person!
  • David has been struggling lately. We seem to go through phases....just another tough phase I guess.
  • We have to go to Thailand in January for meetings.....we are still waiting on visas to move....but we all have doctor's appointments in Chang Mai. I am excited about getting us all checked out. There are some little nagging issues that just wont go away...
  • I've been having really bad headaches lately, but it seems I am getting better. I think it was from dehydration.
  • Sleep has become very important to me. I gotta have it!
  • Maggie is going to the potty really well.....but she has started pooping her pants. AND that is KILLING me!
  • Looking forward to our holidays. I just cant wait to be home with the kids. I have cut back school to 3 days a week, and I really love being home when Noah comes home from school. I have really seen how I have missed my time with the kids. I am so thankful now, that language has gone well, allowing me a bit more freedom to be with the kids.
Well....that is some good points for now. Life is so busy....I'm ready for it to slow down a bit and enjoy Christmas!
