Home Again..

We made it back home today at around 3 in the afternoon! So nice to be back in our normal environment.

We had a good weekend away. I will try and post some pictures tomorrow. We met lots of new people and got a chance to catch up with some friends as well.

Friday was a huge day for us....we loved seeing our friends in Gympie again. We had also left Noah's backpack there and it was good to pick that up as well!!!!! We had a great time catching up with a lady who spent 30 years working in our area (but with a different people group). She has just wrote a book and I cant wait to start reading it. Friday night we caught up with the Peers family! We always love seeing them all and it is so nice to go somewhere and feel so comfortable and at home-so nice to relax at friend's houses.

Saturday we relaxed a bit and had tea with the pastor and his family. It was great to spend time with them. Shane preached at the morning and evening service on Sunday. We got a special treat Sunday afternoon-we ALL had about a 3 hour nap!!!! So awesome to have the kids all sleeping for such a long time. We really needed it.

We took our time getting home today...we often have to stop to give the kids a chance to run around and have a break from the car.

We hit the ground running this week though...lots of study for Shane. Dave goes to Mrs. Kacee's house tomorrow and Noah goes to school. I am going to spend the day working on passport applications for Noah and Maggie....and myself as well! My passport has expired (my US one)....Maggie needs a US and Australian passport (and we also have to report a US citizen being born abroad-more paperwork)...and Noah's Australian and US passport will expire in the next few months. The US embassy has contacted me and if I can go ahead and get all my paperwork done...they will see Noah and Maggie at the same time in January! What a blessing! So glad that we can do this all at once.

Well...I've got a long day tomorrow...better get some rest.
