We're Back

We just arrived home from our time away with Shane's parents. We had a great time. I have so much to tell and blog about! Shane's parents leave to return home on Friday, so that means that tomorrow is their last day. Please pray for us all as we say good-bye. Once they go and life gets back to normal for us, I will be back to my regular blogging. I have so many things to catch you up on.

For now...

One of the places we went to on our trip was Mount Bromo, an active life volcano here. It was freezing cold and just wonderful! My teacher, Ibu Nana, is from Bromo so she traveled home for the weekend, and we all spent the night with her and her parents in their village. Her parents cooked for us, we got warm by their fire, and we just enjoyed our time in the village. Shane's parents also became experts at the squatty potty! We rode a jeep down to the bottom of the volcano, then we rode horses to the crater, after that we all climbed steps to the top and looked down into the crater. It was fantastic!!!!

Enjoy the photos!
