Packing Up-Heading Home!

Well, today is our last day in Cairns. We are just about to start packing up all of our things. I have packed the boys toys and Maggie's bag so far. I will start on all of the rest of the stuff in just a little bit. We have to be at Innisfail tomorrow morning by 9:00am. So, we will try and leave here between 7 and 7:30am! In order to be on time, we have to try and get the car all packed tonight!!!!

We will speak in Innisfail tomorrow morning. Then, we will head to Townsville and stay there on Sunday night and Monday night. On Monday, we are catching up with friends for lunch and friends for tea. On Tuesday, we will try to do the long drive to Rockhampton and stay there overnight. If we can survive that long drive, we will then only have a 3 hour drive home on Wednesday!

Obviously, I wont be blogging while we are on the road, but I will schedule a post each day (including our trip to the Atherton Tablelands...and a few other things we have been doing in Cairns). So...Keep checking the blog and you should find some interesting reading each day!!!!!!

We are ready to get home. Ready to give the kids a bit of normality again. This road we are on is not an easy road (especially with kids), but we know that the Lord is with us each step of the way. "He who called you is faithful"!  We have had up times and down times on this trip. Times when we have felt really discouraged...but times when the Lord has sent us the encouragement that we needed at just the right time! We are blessed to have had an opportunity to visit old friends...and blessed to have had an opportunity to make new ones. What a journey we are on!

If you live in Bundy...we look forward to seeing you all at church on Sunday (Oct 3rd). Sunday October 3rd is our annual missions Sunday....we are having an awesome guest speaker in the morning service and a great panel night in the evening service! Make sure you dont miss it!

Thanks so much for your prayers. We couldnt have done it without them. Please continue to pray for our health and safe travels. The boys are doing great, but Mum Elson and I are still a bit sick.

Well....that's about it for now. Better get packing....
