I thought I would post some photos of our time in Singapore. We did enjoy the parks, the food, and a break from the call to prayer, but we really did not find the big city very restful. The boys loved the parks and the subway, but it was exhausting taking three kids all over Singapore!!!
In all things, we really try to make the most of every opportunity. So here are some photos of our daily ventures. God Bless the people who took care of us. When the body of Christ unites to help one another it really is amazing. We stayed with a family who has been praying for our people group for years. In fact, they visit Beeland every year. We just felt so loved and supported by these guys. They were wonderful.
We had a pretty rough trip home. Our flight was three hours late, immigration and customs took 2 hours (which is the longest we have experienced so far), and we did not get home to our house until Midnight Saturday night. Good news though....the medicine the doctor gave me for motion sickness worked really well and I didnt get as sick this time.
We are back home now, but feeling a bit tired. We had much catch up work to do yesterday (Sunday), and our family has begun to get real strict about celebrating the Sabbath and resting on that day which the Lord gave us. So, we have decided to take our Sabbath today (Monday) to try and rest a bit from the travels.
It is really weird returning home on a tourist visa. There is this temporary feeling. I really dislike this feeling!!! There is just something unsettling about coming back to our home and knowing that we only have a visa to stay for thirty days! It does look like our language visa will be ready soon, but we have decided to not exit until September so that we can recover a bit from this trip and get Noah settled into school and Dave and Maggie back into a good routine.
Thanks so much for your continued prayers and support. Our biggest prayer request.....finding rest in the Lord and taking time out for refreshment (like having our Sabbath today...Monday). Being diligent in our prayer and Bible study. We are so blessed by your faithfulness....thank you thank you thank you!

| We walked about 1/2 mile everyday to catch the trains. Maggie refused to ride in the stroller and insisted on walking! She pretty much did Singapore on foot! Tough girl! |
