Tomorrow, we head off again. We are heading to North and South Carolina. We are visiting many friends and sharing at a church on Sunday. We will return to Tennessee next Friday (so we will be gone a week). We are so excited to see some friends that we havent see in ages!!! It will be good to meet new people too and to share our hearts with them.
Please pray for safe travels for us all. Pray that we would enjoy our time together. Pray that we would be kept safe on the roads. Pray that the Lord would go before us and that He would prepare the hearts of those who we will share with.
We are as busy as ever! Homeschooling has been good this week. Although, I do need an extra dose of patience these days! Shane has finished 1 paper, 1 discussion question, and he is writing another paper as I sit here blogging! Less than 5 weeks to go! I know we can make it!
We are now beginning our visa process for Asia. Even though we dont plan to arrive there until June, our visas need to be processed very early. Basically, when we re-enter Australia in May, we need to have everything in order so that we can send our passports off right away to allow time to get our visas put into our passports. There are so many applications to fill out, certificates to send in, and pictures to take of us all. I have spent so much time on the scanner today scanning our passports. We are required to scan EVERY page of our passport---for ALL of us! It takes ages to scan every page of 5 passports! I just finished it though so I am mighty happy with myself. Please keep this in your prayers. Pray that all will go smoothly and that we will get everything in on time. The language school needs the paper work soon!
We are enjoying our time here. The kids are having so much fun. We had great weather this week, but today was cold again and the kids didnt really want to go outside. Dave has a bad cough so we are trying to keep him out of the cold. Please pray for all of our health. Last night, we were up a lot with Dave. We thought that he might have an ear infection, but we think he is having trouble breathing at night and that is waking him up. We really dont want to have to go to the doctor here. It is very expensive. Just keep praying that Dave will get better and that we will all stay healthy on the road.
Well, it is getting late. Time for bed!
