We have almost made it! Only 1 more sleep. I absolutely cant wait. This Mother's Day I was so thankful for my 3 blessings, but I will be even more thankful when their father comes home!!!!!
Yesterday was a quiet day at home. We just hung out and did nothing. It was nice. I have been feeling really lonely and missing Shane. I am just so excited that he is coming home!
Today, Noah is off to school, and I am busy packing all of our bags. Tomorrow, we will meet Shane in the city north of here. We will pick Noah up after school and head out for a 2-4 hour drive. I think we will get to the hotel before Shane, but who knows with all of the traffic and the drive. We then will be with our teammates (these are the teammates that are on-site and have just returned from furlough) until Sunday.
I am feeling rather tired, but that is normal after Shane has been gone for a week. I finished all of my projects that I needed to work on. Noah finished all of his school work this weekend. He has been doing a project on Australia. That has been rather difficult without Shane here and I am very thankful for the internet. I now know a lot about Bert Hinkler, ANZAC Day, the Aussie flag, and a lot of other stuff!
Well, I need to keep packing. I have language this afternoon, and then I will have to pick up Noah from school. I am praying Aunt Marilyn doesnt give him a lot of homework for the next few days. Hopefully, it will be a nice, restful night. The boys are looking forward to packing their owns bags! Independence is so fun!
