Prayer

Please pray for Shane and his language test tomorrow! I think he will do great. He is fighting off a headache at the moment. So please pray he gets rest tonight and that his headache goes away.

I am feeling a little better, but not a lot. Today, I went up to Noah's school and had my blood pressure taken. Everything was fine with that. There are 2 nurses who work at the school so that is why I went there. Now that I know how to use the machine, I can go anytime I want! Because my blood pressure was normal, I am going for some blood work tonight. My first time to do that here so it should be interesting. I went to school yesterday, but was home again today. I am getting a lot of tests done including Typhoid and Dengue. I nearly had a heart attack today when I saw in my medical records that my last Typhoid vaccine was in 2002, but after checking my records with my doctor in Australia, I found that my last Typhoid vaccine was in 2010 (I guess between raising support, having a baby, and moving that I didnt record it)! Yay! So I should be fine with that. One of our teachers at school recently had Typhoid and it is nasty!

I dont think I am sick enough to have Dengue. I probably just have a normal, ordinary 3-5 day virus. Better to be safe than sorry though especially since we do not currently have an expat doctor here. My nurse friends are taking such good care of me though and I am so thankful for them. They are even coming to get me to go with me to the pathology place to get my blood taken. They are fluent with medical terms so I should be in safe hands!

Pray for Noah at his school camp. It is tomorrow night and all day Saturday. Please pray for him to grow! One of the nurses at school told me that Noah stood up in Chapel yesterday and prayed for a teacher all by himself (in front of Grades 1-6). I am just so proud of how much he is growing to love the Lord. I pray he has a wonderful weekend and pray for it not to rain the entire time so he can get out and run and exercise in the sun!

Thanks for praying. We couldnt make it without you!
