Thank You

Sorry, but today is so busy, and I dont have time to post any photos or write very much!

I just want to say thank you to all you guys who have specifically been praying for David. Yesterday was a very successful day for him. We went to our afternoon fellowship, and he was good in Sunday School. I know this may not sound like much, but he obeyed his teacher so we are just overjoyed!

I have been reading a book called Practical Affirmation. It has changed many things for me, and has especially convicted me on my lack of praise for my children. It isnt just a book about parenting...it is about using affirmation in every aspect of our lives. I will have to write up some of the things in the book when I have time. I have so much to tell about it.

So I have been working extra hard this past weekend to praise the kids. I'm not talking about just saying they are good at something, but actually pointing out God-given qualities and characteristics and how they are reflecting God. And guess what? It's working!

This was also the first Sunday that Maggie stayed in the nursery. Often, she screams so we take turns staying with her. Shane and I were actually able to listen yesterday! This is the first time in what seems like forever that we have been able to do this.

So please, keep those prayers coming! They are working!
