I am looking forward to our family movie night tonight. We have started doing this every Friday. We have homemade pizza and all sit down together-including Mom and Dad. It is so much fun doing this together. Last week, we watched the movie Up. Noah cried at the end. When I asked him, why he cried, he just said that he was so happy. He is growing so much. Tonight's movie is Mary Poppins. I havent seen it for awhile so I am really looking forward to it.
I havent been feeling so good the past few days. I've felt a bit tired and a little homesick too. I took yesterday off from school and slept all afternoon and then went to bed last night at 8. I feel much better today after a good sleep and lots of rest. I'm back to school today.
We have a busy weekend ahead. The boys have been invited to their first birthday party on Saturday. Shane will be busy with our car registration all day on Saturday. We are getting our car put in our name. It has been a bit of a hassle...and will probably take Shane all day on Saturday to get worked out. With Shane being busy, that means that I have to drive the kids to the party (in a mall playground). I've never driven there before and traffic here is crazy on Saturday...so I am not really looking forward to it that much!
We are trying to prepare for Thanksgiving this week. It takes forever to get anything done here so I started looking for my ingredients this week. I had to make an emergency call to Andrew and Carlie (our best friends) in Darwin to send us some Sage for my dressing! Thanks guys for sending it ASAP!
Noah's school has Thanksgiving together on Thursday night. We are suppose to bring food from his home country (which is Australia for him), but I find it hard that I am going to make something Australian on Thanksgiving!!!! I may rebel and make something American! On Friday, we are celebrating Thanksgiving-American style complete with a Turkey, Dressing, Pumpkin Pie, Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans...the works. Oh and we are going to watch the Macy's Day Thanksgiving Day parade (Taped from 2 years ago...we are desperate I know) and the boys are going to watch the NFL! Noah has the day off school. I am hoping to get my cooking done early so that I can enjoy the day!
Well...Have a good weekend. Will post more pictures when I can.
