He Did Great!

Noah had a great first day. His teacher told me that she has seen a lot of first days in her time, and Noah did pretty well!!! Praise the Lord. Prayers were answered. As we were leaving a few of the boys in his class called out bye. So wonderful that he has made some friends too. He is the only white kid in his class. The rest are either local or Chinese or Korean. He was real excited that he got to go to music today and play the xylophone. I asked him what his favorite part of the day was and he said, "Playing on the playground." The international school has a great playground that any expat can use, and I think he remembered it from when we had been there before. He brought home some homework-3 memory verses, some phonics, and 2 books to read. He must of had to work on raising his hand today when he needed help, because at dinner tonight he raised his hand when he wanted to tell us something!! HAHA! Tomorrow and Wednesday are holidays here. Then, he will start back on Thursday like normal. I would have blogged earlier, but we lost power for a couple of hours today. We decided to take Noah out to dinner to celebrate. What a great day for us all!
