Just thought I would update you all on how Dave is doing. He is on the third day of his medicine. The rash on his stomach is definitely not worse, but it isnt improving a lot either. We will make sure we see out the medicine and then think about what we will do next. For now, I have cut milk and peanut butter out of his diet just to make sure. We found out the medicine he was given was an antihistamine called Zirtec, which is quite well known and a good medicine for allergies. So, we will wait and see.
Please pray for our minnie-mouse obsessed little girl. She has had fever for the past 2 days. This morning she woke up with flu-like symptoms as well. She isnt wanting to eat and vomits when she tries. We can always go back to the hospital and see the doctor there that Dave saw if we need to. Nurse Mei thinks we just keep giving panadol for now. Everything here seems to start with flu-like symptoms (dengue...Typhoid) so it is hard to know if it is just the flu or a virus or something else. If it continues, I guess we will have to do blood work to see what it is, but I dont want to think about that right now!
Good news is that Shane and I went to be early last night and the kids didnt wake up at all in the night! Our team came here last night for our weekly get together and there was much praying about this issue of the kids not sleeping through the night and having nightmares. So praise the Lord for a restful night for everyone! I feel like a new person today with sleep and rest. Shane is feeling better, but he is starting to feel flu-like as well.
When it rains...it pours I guess! I do pray though that I can stay well to take care of everyone. I am quite week around vomiting though...I will take diarrhea any day!
Thanks for upholding us. Please especially uphold our kids. Dave particularly is going through a rough time again. All we can do is pray and journey with him. KEEP PRAYING!
