I just got a call from Shane a few hours ago. We hadnt heard from him since Sunday morning (through email)-so it was nice to get a phone call and hear his voice. He is having some trouble with the wireless internet and he was using a friend's computer to call me on Skype. The first day of training was really good, and they were just about to head out and meet some locals and put some of the things they are learning into practice. He sounds like he is having a good time. He has already been able to catch up with friends that we met in January!
I think I am already wanting him to come home! Maggie is screaming...and I never seem to be able to settle the kids as well as he does. I am having a good time with Shane's parents-they are being a good help. Dave has been up to quite a bit of mischief so it is good to have the extra hands to help me out.
Well...I'm off to do a bit of housework before bed. Hopefully, we will be able to skype with him tomorrow-the kids are really anxious to see him!!!

I'm sure you can't wait to see him either! You are a brave woman. I love the photos of your family. Praying that all goes well while Shane is away. One day we will meet each other you know!
